About

Equipment Maintenance is the focus of my lifelong career.

Whether it’s an airplane, car or most any type of machine, periodic maintenance is necessary to maintain reliability and consistent peak performance.

Prior to working in the semi-conductor manufacturing industry, I spent 10 years in aircraft maintenance & repair. I’m a FAA Licensed A&P Mechanic and Certified Electronics Technician.

Working in the semi-conductor industry for 43 years, I’ve gained extensive knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing many types of equipment used to manufacture electronic devices.

Employed by Hewlett Packard, Agilent and Keysight Technologies, my primary job was Fab Equipment Maintenance.

  • Specializing in preventative maintenance & repair of Cutting Lasers, Photolithography Equipment, including Microscopes, are among the many different types of machines I have worked on, as well as the modification and/or redesign of various machine components for improved operation, ease of maintenance and throughput. I’ve also been involved with the occasional new machine acquisition, vendor research, determining specifications, on site evaluation, packaging, delivery and setup.

Leaving Keysight Technologies in 2019, I started RBTC (Robert Beckham Technical Consulting) to continue to offer maintenance support as a contractor/consultant for Keysight.

In 2025, I expanded my business to include Microscope Service and Repair.

Serving: Semi-Conductor and Medical Industries, Hospitals, Physicians, Universities, Laboratories, Veterinary Clinics and more.
